FORMING A HEART FOR ISRAEL / with SHEKINAH

My heart was transformed through an encounter I had with God over Israel in the year 2000. Out of that encounter emerged a personal mandate to introduce Christians to Israel for the purpose of helping them develop a heart for Israel. Once you visit Israel and stand in the gates of Jerusalem, you are never the same. Being on and in the land captures your heart and transforms your perspective about this tiny speck of land. It now becomes the center of the universe where God has arranged all of history to revolve around Jerusalem. I now yearly take groups of people to Israel and invite you to join us on our next trip, March 7-18, 2020.

You will be introduced to this amazing nation and its place in God’s heart and history. It’s hard to imagine but you will find yourself overcome by this trip. Israel and Jerusalem will forever be indelibly printed on your heart. It’s a rigorous trip where we will be visiting many key places that are significant from both a biblical and political viewpoint. There are places we will pray, a night of worship, meetings with key spiritual leaders and others. You will learn why the eyes of the world are on Israel. Let’s go up to Zion together and worship!

American citizens need a passport valid at least 6 months after their departure. You will not need a visa entering Israel if you are an American citizen. If you have a different nationality or have a passport from a different nation, please visit the Israeli embassy website by clicking here to see if you are required to have a visa to enter Israel. Very Important: Your passport must be valid for six months after the date of your scheduled return from Israel or they will not let you enter the country.
Despite the media reports, most of Israel is a very safe place. In all our years we have been traveling to Israel we have never experienced any complications. We take every precaution and do whatever is necessary to assure the safety of the group. We are fully committed to making your experience in Israel both a safe one and a positive one. We travel with one of the top tour guides in Israel whose family helped guide vice president Joe Biden on his trip to Israel.  We continually monitor the situation in Israel and iIf ever we believed we could not provide an experience that is both safe and celebratory, we would postpone the trip. Rest assured that you are in good hands and we are extremely confident in our travels to the Holy Land.
Israel during March is ending their winter season and heading into springtime. The temperatures vary in different parts of the nation but on average are about 50-60 degrees (lower in the evenings). Be prepared for it to be a little cooler in Jerusalem as it is a more elevated climate. In the South of Israel (Sea of Galilee and Dead Sea) it is going to be breathtaking; everything is beginning to bloom.
If you want to buy souvenirs we recommend deciding beforehand how much you are going to spend, we have many opportunities to shop on our trip and our guide will recommend great affordable places to us. Don’t forget to bring money for your lunches, the tour includes 4 lunches as a part of the package so plan for about $10-15 dollar per day when lunch is not included. Since a lot of shops and restaurants take U.S. dollar, there will be no need to exchange your money when we get to Israel, plan on bringing smaller bills for lunch ($5, $10, $20). Some places will take credit card (though it is rare) but make sure to let your credit card company know your traveling to Israel before you leave so they don’t suspect fraud and cancel your card while traveling.
We highly recommend travel insurance and recommend Arch Travel Protection now and it must be added no later than final payment. Any specific questions regarding the insurance we recommend they contact the company directly. https://www.gate1travel.com/insurance/arch/
